Clarisse de Suremain Beaune Vieilles Vignes 2019

Clarisse de Suremain, a former classical pianist and business school graduate, shifted her career to winemaking, influenced by her uncle Eric de Suremain, a biodynamic expert. After viticulture studies in Beaune and hands-on experience in biodynamic vineyards, Clarisse began her own venture in 2019 with a plot of Aligoté, later expanding to Pommard and Volnay, practicing organic farming. Now managing 2.5 hectares, including inherited land, she also buys grapes from nearby regions. Clarisse's cellar work is influenced by natural winemaking techniques, minimizing sulphur use. Her wines are known for their unaltered purity, precision, and freshness, offering immediate enjoyment but also benefiting from ageing.
