Riddle Wines Skin Macerated Vermentino El Dorado AVA 2020

Riddle Wines was born because I wanted to make wine that is the purest form of what the vineyard, harvest and climate created. Cutting out any additions or heavy-handed winemaking methods is the best way I know how to do it. I work with vineyard owners who put their passion and knowledge into the vines and don’t use any herbicides or pesticides (Organic and Regenerative practices). I also farm 3 vineyards regeneratively in Sonoma.

Farming: Organic El Dorado AVA: David Girard Vineyard

Style: Vermentino Skin Macerated with 14 days

Additions: Native Ferment & 15 ppm sulfur before bottle

Tasting Notes: This lively and aromatic wine has a lot of intricacies to it. Aromas of hibiscus, peach, lemon and orange rind with a hint of nuttiness. The palate bursts with flavors of lemon zest, apricot and tea leaf

Aging: 10 months in neutral French oak

Production: 924 Bottles

Numbers: 3.14 pH 12.2% ABV
